In general this will be at the discretion of the boat owner, although some European countries do require an ICC certificate (equivalent to RYA Day Skipper) for boats over a certain size. An RYA Day Skipper certificate is usually a safe bet for most boats; or submit a sailing CV if you’ve done a lot of boating but never taken this out. Smaller boats will need less experience, but boat owners will usually like to know that you’ve at least handled a boat before.

If in doubt ask the boat owner, and there’s always the option of booking a skipper for the trip. This has its own benefits and will allow you to kick back with your family and friends; relax into the sail whilst someone else gets you from A to B. Hosts are also available for meal provisioning, and full crews for larger boats. See the optional extras on each individual boat listing for what’s available.

We say that 6-8 weeks a year is as much as is realistic to expect on average. There’s more chance of getting to nearer the top end of this with favourable reviews on the site and positive customer feedback. Just choose the dates you want to use your boat for, then leave it to us to fill it on the other weeks.

Generally we advise that it will not be possible to make any significant profit, but chartering your boat out will likely cover annual running costs of the boat, including mooring fees, insurance and maintenance costs.

Gulet CARPE DIEM – Very beautiful gulet for charter in Croatia
Gulet Carpe Diem is the newest gulet in our fleet. She is very spacious, 30 meters long yacht, that provides the ultimate comfort to our guests.
Carpe Diem has performances while under sails, so our guests can fully experience the beauty of vintage navigation.

The yacht provides accommodation for up to 8+1 guests in 4 beautiful cabins:
1 Master cabin with double size bed + single bed
1 cabin with double size bed
2 twin cabins

Master cabin extends through the whole beam, it\’s very spacious and has double size bed. There is another single bed in this cabin, which is suitable for the families with little kids. Other 3 cabins are also spacious enough and provide lot of storage space. Each cabin has individually controlled air conditioning, as well as en suite bathroom with shower tub.
Bed linen, towels, bath robes and slippers, safe box are provided for each cabin.

The indoor salon consists of the dining corner with couch, dining tables and chairs, as well as the yacht bar. There is a plenty of day light in salon, due to large panoramic windows.

The most attractive part of every gulet is her deck. On Carpe Diem, there is a big dining table at stern, while on the huge bow, there are sun bathing mattresses and cushioned sofa with cocktail table.

The gulet has plenty of water sports for our guests, which are not charged extra: 4.8 m Tender with 100 Hp outboard engine, 1 paddle board, 2 sea kayaks, wake board, 2 sets of water ski (adult and child), knee board, doughnut, snorkeling equipment.

There are 3 crew members on the yacht, who have long term experience in hospitality and navigation and will make sure our guests have the most amazing vacation.

FOOD OPTIONS:

Half board (breakfast+lunch): 350 Eur per person per week.
Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner): 600 Eur per person per week.

Drinks/beverages are not included in food option and must be taken at the yacht bar.

DRINKS/BEVERAGES OPTIONS:

Drinks/beverages must be taken from the yacht bar and paid according to consummation.
All inclusive domestic package-includes Croatian quality wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, natural and mineral water, coffee, tea, juices – 250 Eur per person per week
All inclusive domestic non alcoholic package – 125 Eur per person per week
If all inclusive option is taken, please note it includes quality wines from standard boat bar offer, specially ordered wines are extra cost; foreign alcoholic drinks (like vodka, whiskey, wines, gin, champagnes etc.) are extra cost, if consumed.
