Borrow a Boat In Grenada
Affectionately named “The Spice Isle”, Grenada comprises one main island (also called Grenada) and six other islands. Nestled at the southeastern end of the Caribbean sea, it’s famed for growing nutmeg although cinnamon, cloves and ginger are also farmed here. However, it is Cocoa which is Grenada’s main crop- why not visit the 300-year-old Belmont estate to see how it is produced and sample it for lunch? Alternatively, scuba dive to explore an underwater sculpture park or clamber up to Fort Frederick for its panoramic views.
Like it’s immediate neighbours (The Grenadines), it is perfect for island hopping and searching for that perfect beach- sail to Grooms Beach, Levera Beach, Grande Anse to name but a few and relax- Caribbean style!
