Rent a catamaran in Porec

Pros of renting a catamaran in Porec

Charter a catamaran in Porec if you want to explore the beautiful beaches on the Istrian coast. As catamarans have a shallow draft, you can easily access beaches like Bellevue Beach. As the coast is mostly shaped by stunning rocks that are often hidden underwater, you would need to be more cautious sailing on a boat with a keel.

Rent a catamaran in Porec if you want to enjoy a very comfortable and convenient holiday on the water. As catamarans stand on two hulls, they are built in a way that allows for bigger bedrooms and more space on deck. This is perfect, because you won’t feel like sleeping in a tiny cabin on board a boat, but rather in a cozy hotel room. You really get to enjoy the comfort of a hotel room all while relishing the beauty of sleeping on a boat in nature. When waking up early enough, you can watch the sun rise, a colorful spectacle you wouldn’t want to miss.

A catamaran rental in Porec is also really great, because you can either set your sail or drive with the engine. This gives you a lot of flexibility and you won’t get stuck in the middle of the sea should the wind suddenly stop blowing.

People who get seasick easily will definitely appreciate sleeping on a catamaran rental in Porec. Standing on two hulls doesn’t just mean more space, it also means more stability. You won’t feel a catamaran shaking as much as other types of boats. This is particularly great when the wind suddenly picks up and the water starts acting a little wild.

Cons of renting a catamaran in Porec

Catamarans are generally slower than other types of boats as they are much lighter. This doesn’t make them the best water vehicles to sail longer distances for a longer period of time.

Another downside of a catamaran charter in Porec can be the fact that they are quite big. You might struggle finding a spot for mooring at the marinas - especially during the busy summer months July and August. If you do, you will probably have to pay extra for a mooring spot as catamarans often take up space that is meant for two boats rather than one.
